  My full name is Jeannette Alisa Rafaela Manchoon, born and raised in Palmiste, San Fernando. I am twenty-one years old and just about 5’7 in height. Featured in Issue #26. Currently I’m a final year student at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine, with a major in Environmental and Natural Resources Management and two minors in Biology and Marina Biology. I hope to one day help Trinidad and Tobago reach sustainability, leaving a beautiful country for our children and grand children. 

  
  Growing up I dabbled in about almost every sport, but one thing that always stuck was k-9 training and handling. Many people do not consider it a sport but it most definitely is. I have handled Dobermans, German Shepherds, Belgium Sheep dogs, Golden Retrievers and even Rottweilers. Aside from my love for the man’s best friend, I am also very interested in modelling and have taken part in a couple pageants. I currently hold the title of Miss UWI-verse 2011 and was a semi-finalist in Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2011. I also enjoy hiking, swimming and travelling.
