Remember when The Prime Minister get blow out for watering his lawn during this current Water Crisis, and as a result of the country tongue lashing, Uncle Patos fired the Landscape staff that was taking care of the Official Residence of the Prime Minister.
Of the eight workers sacked including 4 single mothers, they are begging to be re-hired, claiming that Uncle Patos promised to give them back their jobs.
Excerpt from 'The Express News Paper' :
The workers were fired one day after the Express exclusively reported that sprinklers were being used to water the lawn at the prime minister’s residence, despite a warning by the Water and Sewerage Authority to conserve water. The authority on February 3 imposed several restrictions on the use of water, including the use of sprinklers because of an unusually dry rainy season and the extraordinarily low water level in the nation’s reservoirs.
sounds like the Express sell out the scene and got 4 single mothers fired (tsk tsk tsp Express, shame on you), anyway lets hope they get back their jobs.
